When the saved options allow it, Windows can run a missed backup after the computer becomes available. The status page shows the recorded attempt and result.
Scheduling is optional. A routine can remain manual when you prefer to connect the destination and start it yourself.
Clear boundary
The computer, Windows Task Scheduler, source files, and registered destination must be available. A powered-off computer cannot copy files at the scheduled moment.
