License and activation

Activate or move a Backup O’Clock license.

License management identifies this installation without storing the complete license key in settings, logs, or backups.

Open License & activation

In Settings, choose View license & activation to see status, edition, computers, versions, expiration, and support reference.

Activate this computer

Paste the complete key from the purchase confirmation and choose Activate this computer while online. The key is cleared afterward.

Copy safe license details

Copy license details provides a support reference without including the complete key or signed entitlement.

Release an old computer

Enter the complete key, confirm the transfer warning, and choose Release this computer before activating its replacement.

Use the support form when needed

Send the copied safe details through the website support form. Never place the complete license key in a form, screenshot, or attachment.
