Getting started

Choose folders instead of the entire Windows drive.

Selecting the folders that hold your important files produces a clearer, more reliable backup while still supporting fonts, creative work, presets, and uncommon file types.

1

Read the whole-drive warning

The root of the Windows system drive—commonly C:\, but sometimes another letter—contains Windows, installed programs, recovery information, temporary data, and protected files. Windows may block those items and prevent a complete safety scan.

2

Choose the folders that matter to you

Select Documents, Desktop, Pictures, creative projects, business records, downloaded assets, or any other folder containing files you created or collected.

3

Include specialized content directly

You may select a specific Fonts folder, AppData location, program preset folder, template collection, or plug-in folder when you know it is valuable and Windows permits access.

4

Keep every file type you need

Backup O’Clock includes every readable file type inside a selected folder. Design files, fonts, archives, databases, and unusual program-specific extensions are not filtered out.

5

Add folders later and Preview

Use Edit Backup whenever another folder should be protected. Preview checks the exact selection and reports access problems before anything is copied.
