1

Install and launch

Use the approved installer and its optional desktop shortcut, or find Backup O’Clock from the Windows Start menu.

2

Update the installed copy

Use an approved newer installer. Confirm that saved routines, schedules, settings, and backup access remain available afterward.

3

Disconnect this computer

This removes this copy’s scheduled tasks and shortcuts and disables saved schedules. Program files, other settings, and external backups remain.

4

Remove the application

Use Windows Installed apps for an installer-based edition. Review any license-release choice before uninstalling.

5

Keep or recover local settings

When offered, retain a recovery copy of plans and local settings. This is separate from the backed-up files on the destination.
