Restore and test backed-up files.

A small test restore is the clearest way to confirm that you can find and open protected content.

1

Open Restore

Choose Restore in the left navigation and select the backup routine or available protected content.

2

Find what you need

Browse the listed content or use Search to narrow a long list.

3

Choose a safe restore location

For a test, create a new folder away from the originals. This makes comparison easy and avoids an accidental overwrite.

4

Run Restore

Wait for the restore result before opening the destination.

5

Open and compare files

Open several restored files and compare them with their originals. Keep regular test restores as part of your routine.
