Settings apply to this copy of Backup O’Clock and explain whether each option affects all routines or only the interface.

Choose notification results

Select Windows notifications for successful backups, backups needing attention, and an unavailable registered drive.

Set diagnostic-log retention

Choose automatic cleanup, an age, and the newest number always retained for each backup.

Set safety and recovery defaults

Mass-Change Guard, Recovery Checkup, sample count, and free-space reserve apply to every routine in this copy.

Set startup behavior

Choose how long to wait for a drive after wake-up and whether Help opens when Backup O’Clock starts.

Save or discard

Save settings commits the changes. Discard changes reloads the last saved values.
